![]() ![]() ![]() These can range from becoming an oni to flatulence jokes.Ī semi-rare occurrence when walking late at night in YkW3 around BBQ. If they do open it, effects can be set upon the player that are seen nowhere else in the game. If they don’t open it, it can be returned to the man upon finding him another night for rewards. He gives the player a red box when they’re walking in the nighttime, and forbids them from opening it. He is a reoccurring character in the Yo-Kai watch games who is shrouded in mystery. This is backed up by the original logo for YkW4 being DRASTICALLY more akin to the Shadowside logo, but here is an excellent post that explains it much more in detail. It draws multiple parallels between Rotom and Whisper, along with just the general change in direction of the anime that is much more similar to Yo-Kai Watch (keep in mind the SM anime did indeed come out years after the YkW anime).Ī theory that serves a possible solution to the question of why YkW4 seemingly lacked a lot of content. This theory states that the Pokémon Sun and Moon Anime copied Yo-Kai Watch. "I passed it by at first, thinking that I probably couldn't keep a cat at home, but it was just so cute, I thought to myself 'I gotta do this!' So I came back a few minutes later, but by that time, it had already been hit by a car." I’ll let him finish this with his own words: In an interview, Akahiro Hino stated that he found a cat on the side of the road. Indeed Jibanyan may be less fictitious than we think. Still nothing too crazy, but definitely getting there. This part of the iceberg starts to talk about information that goes much more unknown, and more “out-there” theories. Now we get to dive into where it gets real. ![]() I found this out via a test poll I made, and it’s shocking to say, but there are more people that misremember Slippy’s tribe than those who remember it properly. What tribe do you remember him to be in? He is a part of the Tough tribe, but many people remember him being a part of the Slippery tribe. He is a C-rank who was introduced in Yo-Kai Watch 3. This can happen by sliding a medal too fast, as it messes with the ridges used to identify which medal was scanned, or can just be an off error on the Watch’s behalf. This is most prominently known with Whisper’s medal, which when scanned into the OG Yo-Kai Watch is reported by many to actually play one of the Venocts’ voice clips, as seen here for example. This refers to medals that give different voice lines when scanned in the Yo-Kai Watch. Either many are aware of these things, or they are just surface level theories that aren’t too complex or anything of the sort. This category of the iceberg contains basic things about the series. ![]()
